NASHVILLE, Tenn. – ITL, LLC announces the addition of Matt Matthews to its Executive Management team. A financial and operations professional with nearly three decades of financial, process management, and engineering experience in service, manufacturing, construction, and transportation industries, Matthews has recently been named Controller for the company.
His responsibilities include directing budgets and implementing cost controls, overseeing all accounting operations, preparing financial reports and recommending changes to improve systems and financial performance.
“Our search for ITL’s new Controller was extensive,” said Roberto Schipp, president of the company. “Matt’s breadth and depth of experience across key industry sectors, coupled with his performance-based, process-improvement approach, are financial leadership stand-outs in support of ITL’s future growth.”
Matthews is a Nashville native with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix to his credit. He currently resides in Mount Juliet with his wife of 20 years and their teenage son. As an avid music and sports enthusiast, he especially enjoys spending time on the lake with his family, spectating at his son’s baseball games, and catching the action whenever the Tennessee Vols or Titans take to the field.
